Design Philosophy / Approach

I believe great UX starts with empathy, thrives on iteration, and scales with systems. My process blends research, rapid prototyping, and close collaboration to ensure experiences that are both usable and valuable.

1. Empathy First

I start by understanding the real human context: through interviews, shadowing, or just listening. I seek to understand the frustration behind the click, and the goal behind the complaint.

“During the Rogers TechInsight project, watching technicians work out of their trucks showed me exactly where our UI was failing — it wasn’t about speed, it was about one-handed usability in the field.”

2.Rapid, Iterative Prototyping

I believe in testing ideas early and often. I sketch, wireframe, prototype, and refine based on real feedback — even if it means scrapping my first (or fifth) version.

“For the Smart Package System, we tested five versions of the resident flow before finding the one that was fast, intuitive, and worked for every age group.”

3. Systems Thinking

Design isn’t just UI — it’s how data, people, and tools interact across time. I think in reusable components, scalable flows, and edge-case scenarios.

“In the Wealth Management portal, I worked closely with devs to build a modular grid system that could support both new advisors and data-hungry power users — without breaking the experience.”

4. Accessible by Default

I advocate for inclusive design — not just as a standard, but as a mindset. I regularly test for contrast, screen reader compatibility, and keyboard accessibility.

“Designing for WCAG 2.1 taught me how accessibility improves the experience for everyone, not just a small group.”

5. Collaboration is Everything

The best ideas come from cross-functional minds. I work closely with PMs, engineers, analysts, and end-users to build products that don’t just look good — they work.

“One of my favorite moments was when a field technician told me, ‘This actually makes my job easier.’ That’s when I know I’ve done my job well.”

Selected Projects and Featured Work

Rogers TechInsight Diagnostic Tool

As a Senior UI/UX Designer at Rogers Communications, I led the UX enhancement of TechInsight—an internal diagnostics platform that empowers field technicians to resolve home internet issues swiftly and accurately. By aligning technician workflows with business objectives, I helped improve operational efficiency, accelerate service delivery, and enhance the customer support experience.

Smart Package Systems

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, I redesigned the SmartLocker kiosk experience to enhance usability, security, and value for both end-users and facility operators. This home automation solution empowers users to safely store and retrieve personal belongings through an intuitive interface. My contributions spanned the entire product lifecycle—translating user needs into scalable design solutions that align with evolving smart living standards.

Wealth Management Advisor Portal

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, I modernized the AX360 Wealth Management platform—transforming a legacy system into an intuitive, advisor-friendly tool for managing and recommending investments. By streamlining complex financial workflows and enhancing interface usability, I enabled better decision-making, increased user satisfaction, and contributed to stronger client retention across the platform.

Redefining Employee Relocation

As the Enterprise UI/UX Designer for the Reloplanner project at Brookfield Global Relocation Services (BGRS), I led the redesign of their internal portal to simplify and support every stage of the employee relocation journey. Through user-centered design, I improved onboarding flows, task management, and overall platform usability—enhancing operational efficiency and aligning with BGRS’s mission to deliver seamless, globally scalable mobility solutions.

Home Automation App

I designed a unified home automation dashboard for smart homeowners and an internal operations portal for technicians. This dual-interface solution enabled users to seamlessly manage lighting, cameras, locks, and energy systems—while equipping field technicians with tools to efficiently configure, monitor, and troubleshoot devices. The project improved usability, reduced setup time, and delivered a cohesive experience across user roles.

IntraBot Ai

As the Lead UX Designer and Technologist for IntraBot AI, I conceptualized and designed a secure, real-time enterprise chatbot to streamline internal operations across departments like IT, HR, Sales, and Finance. Focused on task automation and live data integration, I crafted modular, role-aware interfaces that reduced support load, improved workflow efficiency, and built trust in AI-powered tools. The project demonstrates my ability to design scalable AI systems that align with enterprise goals while enhancing user confidence and operational agility.
